So today we went to this place called the Eggenberg Castle. Teddy has been staying at the hotel, he says that it is too hot and he is too jet lagged to come on these adventures yet, so I don't have any pictures of him. Anyway this castle was built by the Eggenberg family started back in 1625. Now this dude Eggenberg was a real smarty pants, he was like the head honcho of Inner Austria which is like 6 countries now a days. He built his summer home here in Graz and he wanted to show his intelligence. So almost everything in the building has some sort of crazy second meaning. Like the third floor, we toured this one, it had twenty-four rooms, twelve with light coloured doors and twelve dark coloured doors to show the hours in a day. Between these twenty-four rooms there were sixty windows. Then in one of the rooms there were seven paintings, one for each day, and the next one had twelve paintings one for each month. The paintings were fabulous and the architecture was incredible but the funny part of the whole day was that we decided that we would go to the Medieval Art Gallery.
It was on the second floor of the castle and you almost missed the door, if you weren't paying attention. Anyway, we first walked into this gallery and there was a single medieval door. We thought, "Hey it's medieval not much would have survived". When the lady came to check our tickets, though, she came from another room and we went in there. Twenty-five rooms of artwork that we had no clue what we were looking at cause it was all in German, and we made it out. None of us thought it would be that long. After that the rest of the castle was pretty basic, a garden (based on the Roman gods) and a coin collection. The walk to the castle and the tour and all of the paintings took up most of our day. I had a quick nap while the other girls went shopping. Then supper and an early home time (we're waiting for a movie to load now). This keeping a blog is hard. I may not put something everyday, though I bet as I get into school and stuff we wont be doing fun stuff all the time. Hopefully Teddy comes out of hiding soon and I'll get some pics with him. Keep you posted.

Second day, my bday
It's really hot here, 27 degrees. It wouldn't be so bad except jet lag is killing me, it makes everything feel worse. We went to the top of the Graz Mountain, it has a real name but I like calling it that. It was beautiful at the top and I found my apartment building, it took some time though. Then we walked down the massive number of stairs. We came home and I had a nap, while mom and mo went shopping. We're still planning tomorrow, and what we are going to do tonight but so far it's been a pretty good bday. I promise I will load pictures but my computer won't let me blog (I'm on Mo's laptop). Once I get it working I'll get them up. Keep you updated. Tiny

Travel and the First Day
So I finally made it. For the first time ever I wasn’t checked in line to have my bag fully swabbed! Teddy must be at least a partial good luck charm. If I ever have to go to the Frankfurt airport again, though, it will be too soon. 26 hours with no sleep is a long time, but once I got here I got a nice bed and all was good. We walked around Graz all day today I got to see my apartment and my new school, I’ll have those posted soon, but they are on mom’s camera and a little harder to transfer, as I don’t have the plug. We also got to see the armoury, which was pretty amazing. Mom and Mo were all excited, I was too but I think that it is time for a nap. The internet connection here is really slow, so everything is taking a while to get done, oh well. I have written this post, downloaded the pics and also played a game of solitaire all waiting for it to load. I may have to post this one later. OH and if you want to leave a comment please feel free (nothing with bad language though) and I will read them over. The only thing you need to do is click on the comment button on the post you want and then click anonymous as the sender.
I'll post pictures ASAP. Talk to you soon,
Tiny (Teddy says hi too)

Laundry
So I'm just waiting for the last load of laundry to be finished and I shall be finished packing! This, of course, leaves me time to try and figure out where all of the little nicnacs are and get them all in my carry on. It is getting really close and I want to make sure I dont forget anything. Fortunately it also gives me time to think about how awesome my 'good byes' have been. My friends helped me to finish off my shopping, although I think that my one friend may never go shopping with me again. Lol. My brother has also been making this pretty awesome. We went arching yesterday, and I have a wicked bruise to show for it (so much fun). Then we went to a movie. One more 'official' goodbye to go then it will be time to head off. Scary. And a lot of fun. I'm sure it will all be great. Probably no more blogging till I get to Austria. Hope everyone's having a great end of summer and is as excited to get back to school as I am! haha. TTYL. Tiny

Packing
So this is a lot harder than I originally planned it. Teddy has it so easy, his clothes travel wherever he goes (and he only has one outfit). I, on the other hand, am trying to pack for a full year, in one suitcase, with a weight restriction. Yay! Fortunately I'm going somewhere where I can buy other things, if I need anything. Still a little crazy trying to choose. This is one part that I can't wait to be over, but on the bright side it just means that I am one step closer. Too much time blogging not enough time packing. See ya.

Hey, I’m Tiny and this is Teddy! We’re going be spending the next 11 months in Austria. I’m going to be studying and living in Austria and Teddy here is going be traveling. I may tag along just to get some pictures but he’s the one having fun! ;P We are going to see the world (or Europe at least).
I’m still busy packing and getting everything organized to head over there, our arrival date is fast approaching and I’m totally psyched. Can’t wait to get there!! There’ll be more posts as I get closer to the date and once I finally get abroad. Keep you posted!
