Easy, of course I wanted to dye my hair partially purple!! (Is there any other colour?) So on Wednesday that is what I did. With some help I managed to buy the dye, and get it all put in my hair and it looks totally awesome! (See the pics below). The only problem about buying some sort of hair care product in a foreign country is that the instructions and labels are all in a different language (no duh right) well you should always look up the words 'washable' and 'permanent' before you buy, and even more importantly before you have the cool tin foil look going on. So I now have this awesome hair colour until it grows out! Not that I am complaining it is amazing! Teddy thinks that I should keep my hair like this forever, and I think I agree! But let this be a lesson to all of you, Always Read the Label!
Tiny| The unread box, why didn't Teddy tell me what the instructions said |
| Waiting for the dye to set |
| This is how M says I should always wear my hair! |
| The final result (I'll have more pics with this colour, so dont worry if it's not too clear) |
Everything on the box was in German AND French, so technically you should have been able to read it. Although permanent is probably not a word you need often. So let’s see what’s the French word for it … oh look it’s PERMANENT ;) (I am just kidding)
ReplyDeleteI guess I know why it did not work on Elisabeths hair: le résultat sur cheveux colorés peut être moins visible que sur cheveux non colorés.
washable [ENG] = auswaschbar [GER]
permanent [ENG] = permanent [GER] OR dauerhaft haltbar [GER]
Yes it is true that it was in French, but the fact that I didn't read it ANYWAY is the big lesson to be learned here Preli!! (also I really dont care too much in this case) LOL but thank you for the translation! And for the aweseom dye job too!
ReplyDeleteOh, I forgot to mention the most important thing: it looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteYes, yes it does!!!!!! And I love it!!! if it grows out, we may have to do it again!! (I need a new symbol for !) lol (Also I need a lesson in making things italics and bolded!)
