St Patrick's Day Potluck

Yesterday was St. Patrick’s Day, and it was pretty awesome. Spent the morning doing pretty much nothing, just reading and listening to music. Then in the evening we had a ton of people over for a potluck. You know us and having parties with food! It was pretty much an awesome evening. We ate chatted played really cool word games and charades. Apparently my brain is just really strangely hardwired for guessing what people are saying through acting. We had a mix of new and old friends and it was nice to have everyone together.  P even made a green soup in honour of the occasion. Lots of fun. M has all of the pictures though, and as soon as I can steal the camera I will upload a few so you can see. The rest of the week was pretty much normal, classes and homework and stuff going on. I’m taking a Canadian Cultures course which is fairly awesome, except I hope that some of them will be in English, cause I’m not sure if I can write the exam if they are all in German! J It’s now time to clean up a little and use the lovely dishwasher that we have in our apartment!

Talk to you soon,

Tiny

  1. Your brain is not just strangely hardwired ... there is something wrong with it. Seriously, if you can guess things like “Loch Ness Monster” in less than 6 seconds something can’t be right. What did they do to you back in Canada? If there would be some sort of Charades world champion ship you should definitely compete. L was pretty good as well. I will never forget how you two acted Casablanca 
And YES, some of the Canadian Culture lectures will definitely be in English and for the test you don’t need to know all of them. You can choose between questions from different lectures, so you can just leave out the hard German ones.
Thank you for the lovely party yesterday

  2. Ouch :P There is nothing seriously wrong with my brain, I blame it on the amount of chocolate that I have eaten since getting here!!! (But you have to admit it was fun!!) :) And I know they'll, be in English it was just a shock that is all! And the soup was awesome!!!!!!! :D

  3. Oh yes, it was a LOT of fun.
I like your chocolate-theory, although, I also eat a lot of chocolate and was not even “ansatzweise” as good as you. Maybe when we play it in German next time I have a realistic chance (probably not).

  5. The soup was awesome. And this WILL need to be repeated again...with the chocolate fondue and more fruit. :-)
